Scottish Digital Academy awards training delivery partnership to Calba

The Scottish Digital Academy has awarded Calba an agile training delivery partnership.

This partnership will bring several benefits to the Scottish public sector’s approach to digital transformation.

Lee Dunn, Head of the Scottish Digital Academy, explained one reason behind the partnership is the need to augment the Academy’s capacity and capability, “What excites me about working with Calba is they bring additional capacity and capability to my team with their highly experienced agile coaches and trainers. This will support the Academy to achieve its goals and our partnership will bring new energy to the public sector.”

Lee also explained a significant aspect of the Academy’s work is harmonising and aligning a wide range of agile practices into a cohesive approach that will suit the unique demands of government work in Scotland. This is expected to enhance team efficiency, transparency, and adaptability when delivering digital services. Lee Dunn notes, “We need to think a lot more innovatively, and think out of the box in how we design and deliver our digital services.”

Calba has a strong track record of enabling organisations innovate and deliver value early by supporting their teams with experienced agile and digital specialists, upskilling and coaching.

Stephen McAinsh, Founder of Calba, commented, “The partnership will allow us to bring our first-hand experience to course attendees, helping put learnings into immediate practice. We also look forward to working with the SDA to continually improve their courses and explore new opportunities.”
